Why is this such a big opportunity?
Li-ion batteries do not spend the valuable resources that they require to function, they host and utilise them, meaning they can be extracted and re-used repeatedly without need for new mining operartions.

Mission
Currently only ~5% of Li-Ion batteries are recycled. There is a huge critical mineral resource out there, sitting un-used in kitchen drawers & bolted to EV's coming to the end of their life (avg. 10 years). The key is to retrieve them before they reach landfill, break them down and re-build into fresh units.
Vision
Over the next 10-20 years, lithium will be the most important natural resource in the world. Battery materials currently travel ~50,000 miles before being implemented as a battery ingredient, giving EV's a higher carbon footprint that combustion vehicles. This is a chance to reduce our dependance on other nations and build our own resource supply chain when we have traditionally been at the mercy of far off producers and geopolitical uncertainty.
